Bill Walker
MASTER IPC TRAINER
Bill specializes in the performance and instruction of micro-miniature soldering and laminate re-work and contributes over 17 years of training experience in beginning through advanced soldering , basic electronics theory and troubleshooting, and individual wire and harness repair techniques.

Bill is retired from the United States Air Force where he was certified as a micro-miniature circuit card repair technician and repair program manager for the last 7 years. He was also a master instructor for 7 years with the Community College of the Air Force for soldering, wire harness repair, and F-16, F-111, F-15 armament systems courses. He received a bachelors degree in professional aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and has an additional associates degree as an Instructor of Technology and Military Science along with his Occupational Instructor Certificate from the Community College of the Air Force.
Bill is well versed in instructional system design and can custom tailor instruction to cover your specific or unique training requirements and build process specific training programs to meet your needs.
David Bailey
MASTER IPC TRAINER Sales Representative
David is the newest member of the Blackfox team contributing thirty years of combined EMS, quality systems, and teaching experience. He is also our representative located in the Silicon Valley of California. David holds a B.S.B.A. degree and a teaching credential in engineering.
David is a Master IPC Trainer in the following courses:
During his years in the industry, David has worked in PCB manufacturing, value add assembly and OEM environments as a quality professional. He has also taught adult education classes through the DeAnza College Business and Industry Program. As an independent consultant he has assisted companies to define and implement quality management systems. This multi-industry experience has provided him with a high degree of understanding for the challenges of providing quality products and services.
Diane R. Bankston

Dorothy Cornell
Quality & Education Director
Dorothy is an ASQ certified Quality Auditor and IPC Master Instructor with 30+ years experience in training, course development and quality assurance. She brings a wealth of knowledge and ability to the Blackfox team.
Dorothy started with Blackfox when the company was founded in 1996 and has been a valued part of the Blackfox Management team ever since. Dorothy has experience in all areas of the manufacturing process and has completed many additional training courses relating to Manufacturing Concepts, Team Building, Problem Solving, and Process Control.
She has worked closely with many Sr. Management clients and is well respected in the industry for her knowledge, ease to work with, and professional manner in which she handles every assignment.
As the Quality & Education Director, Dorothy wears many hats. She is responsible for the following areas:

Dotty has worked as a Trainer, Source Inspector, Auditor, Final and In-Process Inspector for companies such as General Dynamics and Motorola. She has extensive knowledge on the MIL-STD 750 and MIL-STD 883 documents and has created a class for several of the methods outlined in those documents.
Francine D. Danforth
Master IPC Instructor
Francine has been an IPC instructor for over 14 years and is excited to be part of the Blackfox Training team since 2010.
She currently holds certifications in:

She also teaches the Blackfox Comprehensive Solder Class.
Having been with Honeywell over 25 years in the electronics industry, she has a lot of knowledge and experience to pass on to the students making them feel comfortable to achieve the skills and the knowhow to be successful using IPC in their jobs.
Frank Sablan
Frank Sablan has over 30 years experience in the military and electronics manufacturing service industry. Since starting his post-military career with Texas Instruments, Mr. Sablan has held various management and engineering positions with aerospace, semiconductor material, semiconductor equipment and telecommunications companies. He is an American Society for Quality (ASQ) certified Quality Engineer and an expert in developing and implementing ISO-9000 quality systems. Frank holds a Bachelors of Science Degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York

Mr. Noland has extensive work history in the Electronics Manufacturing and Information Technology industries. He has 16 years of very well-rounded experience working as: IPC Trainer, Manufacturing Technologist, Process Engineer, Website Developer, IT Manager, Marketing Manager and Production Supervisor. Before Blackfox, Jamie has worked for Hewlett Packard, Celestica, Merix and Hach. Mr. Noland strongly believes that manufacturing is the key to America’s economy and truly enjoys the chance to pass on his experiences and knowledge to other manufacturing professionals.

Nancy resides in Seattle, WA conducting courses for the local industries and throughout the US.
Scott Bartel
Certified IPC Trainer
Mr. Bartel has over 40 years of experience as a Quality Engineer, Project Engineer, and Program Manager. He is an Air Force Veteran and has worked for Ball Aerospace, Hughes Aircraft, SKW, Blacksky, and Andrews Space. His experience covers avionics, infrared technology, semiconductors, and aerospace electronic manufacturing as well as experiment design, space operations and large systems integration.
With this experience, his knowledge of electronic assembly, cable fabrication and, visual inspection is comprehensive and detailed. His strong desire is to transfer his knowledge to the next generation of electronic technologists.

Stephen (Steve) Fribbins
Instructor
Steve has been with Blackfox Training Institute since 2004 and is a Master IPC Trainer in Australia and South East Asia for the following:

He has been a Certified IPC Trainer under a number of IPC standards since 1995, and was a former Category C: Instructor/Examiner under WS6536E and MIL-STD-2000. Steve also has a Diploma of Teaching in Technical & Further Education, a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, and undertakes training for personal development on a regular basis.
Steve has been involved in Electrical and Electronic Engineering since 1972, and a teacher since 1981, specializing in on-site training, custom course development, and individual/ classroom instruction. He is a Technical Liaison Member of the IPC for:
