Job Description :
This position is responsible for delivering effective electronics manufacturing training including IPC Certification to adult students from the electronics manufacturing industry. IPC Instructors primarily train and certify operators, inspectors, engineers and other trainers to one of six IPC Certification Programs: IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC J-STD-001, IPC 7711/7721 and IPC-6012.
This IPC Instructor position will be based in Longmont, CO and will primarily teach class there or will travel directly to the customer’s facility to conduct classes. This position requires that the applicant is willing to travel up to one week per month.
Qualifications :
Candidates must have a minimum 5 years electronics manufacturing experience. This experience can include printed circuit board fabrication, circuit board assembly and/or wire and cable harness assembly. Soldering experience of through-hole and/or surface mount components and rework is highly preferred.
Candidate must have IPC training experience as a CIT or MIT, either currently or in the past. A current and valid Certified IPC Trainer certificate holder is highly preferred.
