Experienced solderers who repair the board itself rather than the joints on it.

What you will learn
- Correct use of epoxy, and lifted conductor repair
- Removing and replacing isolated lands, missing conductors, and lands with attached conductors
- Through hole eyelet placement with no inner connections
- Solder mask replacement, that is laminate repair
- Edge contact repair by the film adhesive method

- Prerequisites advanced soldering skills.
- Included the student manual, the practical materials used in class and the Blackfox certificate.

Eighty to ninety per cent hands-on. A pad and trace repair practice kit and an evaluation kit are included.

Objectives
Successful completion of this course ensures learners have demonstrated the ability to perform tasks without damage to the assembly, and meeting acceptable workmanship standards for:
- Correct use of epoxy
- Lifted conductor repair
- Demonstrate correct removal and replacement techniques for:
- Isolated lands
- Missing conductors
- Lands with attached conductors
- Demonstrate Through Hole eyelet placement methods (isolated no inner-connections)
- Solder mask replacement (Laminate repair)
- Edge contact repair (film adhesive method)
- Successfully pass a written & practical exam with a combined score of 80% or better
